As PPMG Supplier Relationship Manager, Kudjoou provides leadership and support to the PPMG business on a daily basis. She is responsible for managing the lifecycle between PPMG and its internal and external suppliers, with an aim towards building and developing relationships, achieving long-term contribution and realising the lowest total cost.
Prior to PPMG, Kudjoou joined the Euroclear Group after completing a Master Degree in International Financial Analysis. She has 13 years’ experience working with operational teams and trading desks of top-tier Investments Banks.

Terry Barber

Terry has over 20 years’ experience in the industry covering a number of operational roles. Terry is now Head of Network Management EMEA at Nomura International Plc where he joined in 2011. Based in London he is responsible for Nomura’s sub-custodian network in the EMEA Markets for Nomura’s global wholesale entities

Natalie Berry

Network Manager
Natalie Berry is Network Manager at MUFG Securities EMEA plc (MUFG). Natalie joined MUFG in 2015 and has over 10 years of Network Management experience. Based in London, Natalie has responsibility for managing the subcustodian relationships for MUFG. Her recent work has focused on intraday liquidity within the broker dealer and subcustodian environment, following the issuance of the Prudential Regulation Authority consultation paper covering liquidity provision in stress environments.
Prior to MUFG, Natalie was Network Manager at Jefferies where she was based in London and Dubai between 2011 and 2015 and also held a position within Network Services at RBC 2006 - 2011.

Karen Birkel

Chairperson of the Change Review Group
Karen Birkel is the Chairperson of the T2S Change Review Group at the ECB in the Market Infrastructure Development Division. In this capacity, she is responsible for the functionality of T2S and has been involved in the T2S project since 2009. Before that she worked on projects in the area of capital markets at European banks and institutions since 1998.
Ms Birkel holds a degree in computer science from the university of the Orange Free State in South Africa.

Georgiana Bobe

A 40 + year veteran of the securities industry, Georgiana was hired in 2001 to create and head up the Global Network Management team at Sumitomo Mitsui Trust Bank (U.S.A.) Limited. Based in New Jersey, Georgiana has the responsibility of managing a global network consisting of 19 sub-custodian relationships covering over 75 markets. Georgiana represents the bank at many industry functions and events. She plays a vital role in mitigating risk and ensuring proper service levels are met.

Nicholas Bone
Nicholas Bone founded EquiChain in 2016 and currently serves as the Chief Executive Officer. He has over 20 years’ global banking expertise spanning operations, product development, network management, sales and relationship management, with a specialism in emerging markets.

Bone is known as a thought-leader and strategic thinker on Distributed Ledger Technology (DLT), capital markets and securities services, having gained broad experience across transaction, investment and central banking.

He has previously served at the Bank of England, Deutsche Bank, BNY Mellon and most recently at Standard Chartered as an executive director. Bone was a member of the ISSA working group on DLT and a judge on SWIFT’s Innotribe 2016 DLT Challenge

Charles-Raymond Boniver

Charles is working in the SWIFT securities standards department. He has a global responsibility to strengthen Standards’ engagement with the market and the rest of the Marketing division. Charles is involved in several industry groups (ISO TC68, vice convenor of the ISO 20022 securities Standards Evaluation Group (SEG), programme director at the SMPG (securities market practice group), member of ISITC …). Prior to joining SWIFT, Charles was a senior manager with the Royal Bank of Canada (RBC I&TS) where he was responsible for ensuring that RBC I&TS followed the international standards, leveraging the various products that SWIFT is developing for the community.
Charles holds a MBA from McNeese State University in LA, USA.

David Booth

David Booth joined the Sales and Business Development team of HSBC Securities Services in June 2014, and is currently the regional head of the Bank and Broker Dealer Sector in EMEA,
Prior to joining HSBC, David spent over 17 years at Nomura where he latterly headed up the Network Management function on a Global basis. David has over 25 years' experience in the Securities Services industry.

Philip Brown
Philip Brown is Co-Chief Executive Officer of Clearstream Banking S.A., Co-Chairman of the Clearstream Banking SA Group Executive Management Committee, and Global Head of Client Relations, Network Management and Product Management for Clearstream Group. He moved to his current position from the London office in 2008, where he was General Manager and Headed Client Relations for United Kingdom, Ireland, Nordic and the Americas.
He joined the company in July 2005 after twelve years in the custody and clearing business, in a variety of front office sales and relationship management positions. Prior to joining Clearstream, he spent 7 years at The Bank of New York, latterly as Managing Director and Head of European Sales, 2 years at Morgan Stanley International and 7 years at Barclays PLC. He holds a degree in Banking, Insurance and Finance from University College North Wales, Bangor.

Lee Burman is the EMEA Head of Global Network Management at Morgan Stanley, where he is responsible for the management of agent bank and CSD relationships. Lee has worked at Morgan Stanley for 11 years, holding a variety of positions including Global Head of Market Infrastructure, Global Head of Credit Risk Operations and EMEA Head of Equity Collateral. He has previously worked at RBS, Nomura and Robert Fleming

Stephen Burton
Stephen, Managing Director of the Post Trade Division, has primary responsibility for clearing, settlement and trade confirmation related issues. He acts as an observer on the ECB’s AMI-SeCo advisory group, is a member of the T2S Harmonisation Steering Group and supports the relevant AFME groups. Previously, Stephen was responsible for implementation of equity business strategy in the post trade division at Deutsche Bank. Prior to that, he spent 10 years at Citi, working with operational groups to deliver pan-European market initiatives and represented the company at various market infrastructure and industry user groups.

Alan Cameron

Alan Cameron is responsible for initiating and developing clearing and custody solutions for clients of BNP Paribas Securities Services. He has over 30 years experience of securities services in sales, product and relationship management. He holds a MA in Economic History from the University of Edinburgh and is a Chartered Banker. He is a member of AFME’s post-trade board.

Philippe Castelanelli
Global Head - Network Management & Market Intelligence
Based in London, Philippe is in charge of Global Network Management and Market Intelligence, a shared service organisation servicing Global Banking and Markets, Global Private Banking, Commercial Banking, and Retail Banking and Wealth Management. This function is global in scope and covers securities and cash products as well as precious metals. In addition, it is also responsible for assessing the operational risk of Market Infrastructures and Brokers.

Matthew Cook
Senior Market Manager - Capital Markets
As part of the Global Securities Markets team, Matt is responsible for Business and Product Development of SWIFT’s Capital Markets and FX services portfolio in London.

Matt works closely with SWIFT’s key clients and industry bodies, leveraging his extensive banking operational experience to ensure strategic services are developed in partnership with the community and continue to meet the challenges of a today’s rapidly changing, cyber and regulatory focused landscape.

Matt also represents SWIFT’s emerging technologies division (‘INNOTRIBE’) as it relates to Capital Markets. Working directly with Fintech start-ups, established institutions and industry leaders, Matt bridges new concepts and ideas with established thinking and market practices.

Veerle Damen

Veerle heads up Network Management & International Payments Product and manages the relationship with SWIFT for RBS Plc and NatWest Plc. Prior to joining RBS in 2013, Veerle worked in Network Management in HSBC, Lehman Brothers and JPMorgan. Additionally she has experience in Project Management, Private Banking, and Synthetics. Before moving to London, she worked at JPMorgan/BNY Brussels in Global Custody. Veerle graduated with a BA in Business & Financial Sciences and a MA in Business & Consular Sciences.

Demi Derem is the general manager of Investor Communication Solutions International at Broadridge, responsible for its solutions for global proxy management and corporate governance intelligence. He started his professional career at Barclays as a business analyst and went on to hold leadership roles at Lloyds, Gartmore, KPMG, Cofunds, and BNY Mellon. His 25-year experience covers investment management, investment services and custodian industry segments.
