Previous responsibilities in securities services include Treasury Product Management, Network Management, Project Management and Transformation Management for Global Custody and Treasury in Hong Kong and other service centres. Prior to joining HSBC, Janice worked as a management consultant in Accenture and acted as a project manager and strategy consultant for global financial institutions in Hong Kong and Singapore, including regional core banking implementation programs, market entry analysis, merger and acquisitions and organisation restructuring.

Prior to SWIFT, Lisa was at Standard Chartered Bank in Hong Kong where she was the Head of Securities Service and Head of SS & CAT Product for GCNA. At Standard Chartered Bank, Lisa also held a role in Client Coverage for RMB Solutions where she worked with Financial Institutions on their China Access. Lisa has also held roles at various Financial Technology companies.

Lisa holds a Bachelor of Science degree from Syracuse University and an MBA for Financial Professionals from Manchester Business School.

The business services global custodians, asset managers, insurance, broker dealers and sovereign wealth funds. In addition, Anand is also the Head of Custody and Clearing, Securities Services, Asia Pacific.

Anand has over 24 years of experience and has been with Deutsche Bank since 2000. In his 18 year career at Deutsche Bank, Anand has held various roles in sales, product and product management, and in both Cash Management and Securities Services across India, Singapore and Malaysia. In his last role, he was the Co-Head of Investor Services covering the South Asian countries for Deutsche Bank.

He leads a team of product builders who are leveraging the latest technology to solve problems in the post-trade and fund administration space, where DB serves its institutional clients (Asset Managers, Broker-Dealers, Global Custodians) across 30 countries. His primary goal is to deliver delightful customer experiences, reduce operational inefficiencies, and create new revenue lines.

Samar has nearly 20 years of experience in banking across Sales & Trading, Wealth Management, & Transaction Banking within the following functions: Product, Technology/Innovation, and Strategy/Business Development. Prior to joining Deutsche Bank in Singapore, Samar has also worked at BNP Paribas, Barclays, a couple of FinTechs, and Goldman Sachs, where he started his career in New York.

Samar holds a degree in Computer Science from Northwestern University, and an MBA from INSEAD.

Previous to this Christian has held a number of leading positions within the post trade industry, including CEO for SIX x clear – a leading pan European clearinghouse for equities, CEO of Oslo Clearing, a regional cross asset clearing house, focusing on ETD, equities and SLB, and as lead advisor to Saudi Stock Exchange post trade transformation. He been responsible for a number of large post trade initiatives in the European market, including transformation of the post trade structure for the Norwegian market, competitive clearing, interoperability for derivatives, as well running a number of technology replacement initiatives. Christian is Swedish by nationality and has a graduation in Business administration from Linneus University.

He continues to work with clients across the region to help them realise the potential of smart contract technology with DAML.

Prior to joining Digital Asset in early 2018, Gray spent ~20 years in equity trading, risk management and transaction processing technology at a number of Investment Banks in London, Tokyo and Hong Kong.

Mr. Wei is currently Executive Director and Head of China Research at MSCI. Zhen is responsible for a wide range of applied research initiatives and thought leadership on China, ESG investing, factor investing, Fixed Income investing, global investing and systematic strategies.
Prior to joining MSCI, Zhen Wei led the Asia Pacific team of the Global Cross Asset Systematic Research division at J.P. Morgan. Before this, Zhen was a senior equity strategist at Bank of America Merrill Lynch and fixed income strategist at Lehman Brothers. Mr. Wei has extensive research experience in global macro, ESG integration, asset allocation, risk management, quantitative models and investment product design. His research has been published in various international journals.
Zhen Wei acquired his PhD in Statistics and Master Degree in Financial Mathematics from Stanford University. He lectured MBA courses at the Chinese University of Hong Kong.

Patrick Wong is Head of China Business Development and Client Management in HSBC Securities Services. He is responsible for China business development strategy in asset servicing globally. This includes inbound investment schemes QFII, RQFII, CIBM direct, Stock Connect, Bond Connect, outbound investment to overseas markets, as well as onshore investment in China.

Patrick has over 24 years of experience in the financial services industry.

He started his career at Anderson Consulting (now Accenture) as a consultant, focusing on financial sector. He joined HSBC in 2001. Among the various roles in HSBC, he has set up and led the new business implementation team supporting client onboarding for securities services clients in AsiaPacific region.

Patrick graduated from the University of Hong Kong with a Bachelor’s Degree (First Class Honors) in Electrical and Electronic Engineering. He also holds a Master of Business Administration Degree from the Chinese University of Hong Kong.
