Marc Bayle

Marc leads the Directorate General Market Infrastructure and Payments at the European Central Bank. Previously he managed the T2S Programme as T2S Programme Manager and, before that managed dossiers related to the promotion of market integration and the definition of the Eurosystem’s operational framework, focusing in particular on payment systems and market infrastructure. He has authored publications on the market infrastructure integration and related issues, such as the euro repo market. He is an active member and chairman of European and international working groups and frequently speaks at international conferences.

Previous responsibilities including Head of Technology for Global Markets Operations, and Global Head of Fund Services Technology in which capacity he was responsible for the design and implementation of the award-winning Middle Office Programme.

Georgiana represents the bank at many industry functions and events. She plays a vital role in mitigating risk and ensuring proper service levels are met.

Nicholas Bone

Nicholas Bone founded EquiChain in 2016 and currently serves as the Chief Executive Officer. He has over 20 years’ global banking expertise spanning operations, product development, network management, sales and relationship management, with a specialism in emerging markets.

Bone is known as a thought-leader and strategic thinker on Distributed Ledger Technology (DLT), capital markets and securities services, having gained broad experience across transaction, investment and central banking.

He has previously served at the Bank of England, Deutsche Bank, BNY Mellon and most recently at Standard Chartered as an executive director. Bone was a member of the ISSA working group on DLT and a judge on SWIFT’s Innotribe 2016 DLT Challenge

Diana Chan

Diana Chan became CEO of EuroCCP Limited in 2007 at the start of pan-European equities clearing, and became CEO of EuroCCP N.V. in 2013 after the company’s merger with European Multilateral Clearing Facility (EMCF). In the last ten years, Diana played an instrumental role in the transformation of equities clearing by advocating dynamic efficiency through interoperability and competitive clearing. EuroCCP now brings choice of CCP to 83% of trades executed in Europe. It is the most connected CCP, clearing for nine national stock exchanges and nineteen other platforms including the largest multilateral trading facilities.

Diana has worked in the post-trade sector almost her entire career – gaining experience from all segments of the post-trade value chain, from market infrastructures to intermediaries serving clients investing worldwide. Prior to 2007, Diana worked at Euroclear Operations Centre, JP Morgan, Bank of New York, and Citi. At these institutions, she had a variety of global and regional management roles in Europe, America and Asia, with responsibilities for strategy, market policy, product management, network management and financial control.

Diana was born in The People’s Republic of China and is a graduate of the University of Hong Kong and Harvard Business School.

Mike Clarke is the Global Product Manager in the Securities Services business at Deutsche Bank. In this role he is responsible for Client and Product solutions in Europe.

As a global product manager, Mike specialises in developing business related analysis in regard to securities trading and post-trading environments, providing product management leadership throughout the clearing & settlement and custody landscape in Europe. Furthermore he is a thought leader in the development of componentized strategies and the provision of bespoke solutions to help enable corporates and institutions globally achieve their post-trade goals.
Mike has over 20 years of financial experience, and at Deutsche Bank, he is instrumental in development of the concept of Smarter custody (http://cib.db.com/insights-and-initiatives/initiatives/smarter-custody-initiative.htm) and the new tools being developed to help clients increase process efficiency and improve data quality to drive value in securities services. In addition, the componentized solutions approach he has driven has seen the bank winning several awards including Innovation in Market Collaboration, Best Custody Deal of the Year and Quality of Personnel from Global Custodian magazine.

As one of the founders of Torstone Technology, he led the management-buy-out of the securities and derivatives post-trade processing technology from KBC Financial Products, where he served as CIO for an expansive decade and later as COO after helping with a number of business divestments. As CEO, he continued to expand Torstone’s global coverage by opening a Singapore office in 2013 and a Tokyo office in 2016. Brian also serves as Chairman at Percentile, a provider of risk management technology.
